Words from the North
The North East of England is an area of rich
cultural diversity and stong literary traditions.
This unique collection combines poetry, fiction
and drama and sparks with energy. One minute we are immersed in a Geordie
pub that James Kelman would recognise; the next we enter the comic world
of a sassy north-eastern Bridget Jones, losing herself in slushy pulp
romances on the Metro. In between there are wonderful poems, and a murder
